Re-roofing in West Malling

We start with a survey from the ground and in the loft, then give you a written quote that sets out the tiles, membrane, ridge system, scaffold and waste. If a repair will do the job, we will tell you.

On site we strip one section at a time so the house is never left open, lay new membrane and battens, fit insulation where it is part of the job, and tile with concrete, clay or slate-effect tiles to suit the property. Ridges, hips and verges are mechanically fixed so there is no mortar to crack and fall.

We are based in Offham, a couple of minutes from West Malling High Street, so this is our home patch. The town centre is a conservation area with Georgian frontages and older clay-tiled roofs, while Kings Hill next door is almost entirely modern housing built since the 1990s on the old RAF West Malling airfield.

That mix means very different jobs within a mile of each other: matching handmade-style clay tiles and keeping a period roofline right in the old town, and upgrading tired mortar ridges and verges to dry-fix systems on Kings Hill estates now reaching 25 to 30 years old.
