Re-roofing in Maidstone

We start with a survey from the ground and in the loft, then give you a written quote that sets out the tiles, membrane, ridge system, scaffold and waste. If a repair will do the job, we will tell you.

On site we strip one section at a time so the house is never left open, lay new membrane and battens, fit insulation where it is part of the job, and tile with concrete, clay or slate-effect tiles to suit the property. Ridges, hips and verges are mechanically fixed so there is no mortar to crack and fall.

Maidstone is around 15 minutes from our base along the A20. As the county town it has a bit of everything: Victorian and Edwardian terraces close to the centre, interwar and post-war semis in areas like Barming and Allington, bungalows, and larger detached homes towards Bearsted.

Older terraces often still have their original slate or clay roofs with failing valleys and chimney flashings, while many post-war homes are on their first or second generation of concrete tiles and are due a full strip and re-roof with modern breathable membrane.
